Greener Sussex

Funded by the Department of Education’s Skills Development Fund, Greener Sussex built vital collaborations between colleges and employers to support the growing green economy in Sussex. The project developed skills and training across five key areas:

  • Developing carbon literacy and awareness
  • Electric vehicle technology
  • Alternative energies and hydrogen technology
  • Green technology for land management and food production
  • Decarbonisation academies

Centres of Excellence

The CODES project developed digital skills across the Sussex workforce through a network of specialised training centres. Working closely with employers, FE Sussex created targeted upskilling courses that focused on industry-specific software and digital tools.
